TOPIC: Mastering Milonga
Duration: 20 hours
The program will include:
- exploration of the critical techniques that allow us to dance milonga effortlessly: posture; grounding ("bailar a tierra"); embrace; walking technique;
- exploration of the intricate milonga rhythms (contratiempos, syncopations, habanera) along with the technical tools to be able to lead and follow them with ease.;
- classic vocabulary for milonga: arrepentidas, traspie, corriditas, rhythmic turns, and more;
- qualities of movement in milonga: flow, sharpness, rhythm, melody.

The seminar is held at Por Fiesta Club (Warszawska 17, 31-155 Kraków). It is centrally located and there are many options of hotels and short-term rentals nearby.
DAILY SCHEDULE
AUGUST 24-26 (WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY):
6-8PM DAILY SESSION 1
Warm-up, technique exercises, individual and partnered drills. The first half of the day is slow, focused, and intense.
8-8:30PM COFFEE BREAK
8:30-10:30PM DAILY SESSION 2
Putting the technique in practice with different examples of movement. Focus on the lead/follow relationship, musicality, and floocraf. The second half of the day is faster-paced, fluid, and fun. At the end of the day we provide a review with all of the explanations and exercises that you can film for private use.
AUGUST 27-28 (SATURDAY, SUNDAY):
12-2PM DAILY SESSION 1
